It is so much easier for me to "see" if I tell a story. This blog is one of the places that happens.

Last Friday was my last day with my students.  I say “with” my students, but I wasn’t really “with” them.  In all my years in education, I’ve never had a stranger end to my year.  There would be no classrooms filled with laughter or cheers when that final bell rings....

My lizard, Spike, experiences his own kind of social distancing, but he doesn't feel the pain of it like we do. This is the Young Life talk I gave last week about Jesus moving in close, helping us take off our masks, when everyone else is moving away.
